This mousepad includes an elevated gel surface to reduce contact stress on the structures of the wrist carpal of the mousing side hand. This viscoelastic gel offers the benefit of proper wrist posture, avoiding wrist extension, an awkward posture that places greater internal pressures in the wrist area.

I recommend this in conjuction with a medium to large mouse such as the Logitech Master MX series mice or even something such as the Microsoft Sculpt which has been recently discontinued.
